Being born & raised In Ka'u, the Southernmost point in the United States, on The Big Island of Hawai'i is any photographers dream and I was incredibly lucky to have done so. Growing up running through the vast acreage of Kahuku Ranch has made a huge impact on my appreciation of photography. Being gifted an old 35mm camera from my step-dad & Using cheap colored sunglasses as filters, recycling my moms old magazines and cutting out things that inspired me to create collage boards I was incredibly infatuated with that world and knew this is what I wanted to do.
I attended Konawaena High School in the 90's and took 4 years of 35mm camera photography using dark rooms, film reels, enlargers and creating these amazing images with my hands. Needless to say it took quite a bit of kicking and screaming to make me conform to the digital world but I finally did it.
I currently reside in Southern California and have been blessed with the pleasure of continuing my passion for the people and the world around me.
